Private Build Series
Little Sister
Cutaway - Kikbuckers
Cedar Of Lebanon
Description
The story of the Little Sister began with the puzzling question of how the early delta bluesmen fascinated a listener with a guitar and their simple, yet soulful vocal lines.
We collected samples from the 1920s and 30s, many of which were in poor condition and needed complete restoration, and began to create the unique design that would best serve the guitar sound we became hooked on. And so the Little Sister was born.
We pick the old-growth timber for the tops and refine it to a rustic soundboard. The Cedar of Lebanon has the most acoustic-like tonal quality out of all of our electrics. At first, the COL may appear as the most delicate sounding Little Sister, but add dirt, and it's the ultimate blues machine.
